Elezra and Zinno each began the day with 43% of the chips in play, with the remaining 14% distributed among four other players: Valentin Vornicu,  Phonghtep Thiptinnakon, Rep Porter and David Singer. After the short stacks were sent to the rail to join the rest of the 285 entrants, Elezra and Zinno duked it out for the championship.

Zinno was vying for bracelet no. 2, but was at a more than 3-2 chip disadvantage once heads-up play began. He managed to grab the lead at one point, but Elezra prevailed.

With the victory, Elezra boosted his lifetime tournament winnings to $3,766,463, per the Hendon Mob. Zinno's runner-up score of $57,951 increased his career cashes to $8,489,472.

Elezra began 2019 embroiled in a bit of controversy over money he allegedly owed to the likes of Cole South and Shaun Deeb. Eli co-wrote a book about his life and while he was promoting it, allegations of neglected payments on loans surfaced.
