Chris Moorman Dethroned from MTT All Time Money List by Peter Traply

Recognized for years as the winningest online poker tournament player, Chris Moorman has been bumped off his perch by Peter Traply, a Hungarian who has lifetime cashes of $16,727,488.

Traply, who plays under the monikers of "Belabacsi" at PokerStars and "HungarysHero" at partypoker, amassed his winnings in a somewhat quiet fashion, choosing not to reveal his online tournament cashes publicly - until now. The Hungarian waited until he surpassed Moorman before coming out on Pocketfives.

Moorman, widely known as the first online MTT grinder to break $10 million in cashes in 2013 - and $15 million five years later - currently sits at $16,119,082 on the online leaderboard. His winnings were accumulated over 11,407 finishes in the payout field with an average cash of $1,413.

Conversely, Traply landed in the money 27,347 times, averaging $612 a cash and pointing to a much higher volume of tournaments played, albeit at lower buy-ins. He's been at if for the past 13 years.

As of this writing, the all time MTT money list looks like this, with winnings and number of cashes included:

1 Belabacsi $16,727,488 27,347
2 Moorman1 $16,119,082 11,410
3 lena900 $15,518,756 7,465

That's Sweden's Niklas Astedt in 3rd place, averaging $2,079 per cash. Another Swede, "C. Darwin2", is in 4th place on the leaderboard with $13,229,022 in cashes and a higher average cash than the top three at $2,390.

Could there be other big online MTT winners who choose to stay out of the spotlight? Hmmm ....
