Tu Dao Wins $133,189 and First WSOP Bracelet in $3K LHE

Her second WSOP cash of 2019 will certainly be unforgettable as Tu Dao topped the field in Event #77: $3,000 Limit Holdem 6-Handed to win the gold bracelet and $133,189.

Dao entered the final day of play as chip leader, with just five players standing in her way out of the 193 entries who combined for a $521,100 prizepool. Her victory follows a 4th place finish in the $1K Ladies Event that was good for $52,007.

The first final tablist to hit the rail was Oleg Chebotarev, the Russian's pocket nines no match for the A-J of Alain Alinat after an A-J-3 flop and not another nine in sight through the river. Oleg won $19,687 and reached a quarter of a million dollars in lifetime cashes.

New Zealander Jan Suchanek ($27,291) followed Chebotarev from the table, his 5th place score putting him about $10K away from 2nd place on his country's all time money list at $1,167,514. Chad Eveslage ($38,561) and Ian O'Hara ($55,749) finished 4th and 3rd, respectively, the latter eliminated when the board completely missed his J-9 suited.

That left Dao versus Alinat heads-up and what followed was a seesaw battle as the lead changed hands a few times. Alinat had no live cashes to his credit before this event and ended up settling for 2nd place and $82,312 when his K-Q failed to pair up while Dao's K-9 connected with a nine on the flop.

Final Table Results:

1 Tu Dao $133,189
2 Alain Alinat $82,312
3 Ian O'Hara $55,749
4 Chad Eveslage $38,561
5 Jan Suchanek $27,291
6 Oleg Chebotarev $19,687
