Daniel Negreanu Makes Final Table of $100k High Roller

Daniel Negreanu is still on course to pick up his 7th career WSOP bracelet after making the final table of the $100,000 NLHE High Roller last night, and although he will be shortest stacked when the players return this evening, he will be sure of support!

It was a day of high drama as the original 99 entries were chopped down to just six by the end of day two, that official final table bubble spot seeing a sick piece of overkill that vaulted Keith Tilston into the overnight chip lead, and Sergei Reixach out in 7th…

With all the chips going in pre-flop, and Reixach at risk, the cards were tabled…

Sergi Reixach: A♣ A♠
Keith Tilston: K♣ K♥
Flop: 5♥ 10♥ 6♥

…the huge flush draw wasn’t needed by Tilston, however, as the board ran out…

Turn: K♦
River: K♠

Nick Schulman will also be among those battling for the bracelet and $2,792,406 prizemoney up top, the much-liked pro and commentator finding time to put a few questions to bed surrounding this week’s ‘probably not a controversy’!

Rounding out the remaining six are Igor Kurganov, Dominik Nitsche and Brandon Adams, making the final table as star-studded as you’ll likely see this year.

Chip counts:

1 Keith Tilston 14,475,000
2 Brandon Adams 12,375,000
3 Nick Schulman 11,650,000
4 Dominik Nitsche 9,850,000
5 Igor Kurganov 8,500,000
6 Daniel Negreanu 3,150,000
