Taylor "Galactar" Paur Wins Online Bracelet and $149K in Summer Saver

A $500 buy-in Summer Saver was the final online tournament of the 2019 WSOP and Taylor Paur claimed the title and his second career bracelet along with $149,240 in prize money.

Playing under the WSOP.com username of "Galactar", Paur won out over 1,859 entrants in Event #88. Prize money totaled $836,550, with 207 players claiming a piece of it.

Among the players who nabbed a larger piece was John "SquatCobbler" Parker, who finished 4th for $47,181 when Paur fit a flush on the turn. Next to be KO'd was Satish "jfksbh" Surapaneni ($65,250), getting all his chips in the middle with A-10, only to fall victim to a set of deuces on the flop to "Galactar".

That left just one player to be eliminated for Paur and it was Switzerland's Francois "4everrekt" Evard. Ironically, the final hand saw Paur holding pocket deuces again, but this time he didn't need a set to beat his opponent, Evard's A-8o failing to pair up.
