The words legend and genius are being tossed around on social media with regard to Patrik Antonius after the high stakes pro made a hero call during the opening event of the 2019 Triton Super High Roller Series London.

Event #1 at Triton is a £25,000 NLHE 6-Handed Turbo that drew 117 entrants, creating a £2,925,000 ($3,561,037) prize pool. Nearing the bubble, Antonius found himself in a predicament facing an aggro Charlie Carrel.

We pick up the action after the board plays out and while Patrik is mulling over his decision of whether to call or fold. Check out the hand in the tweet below:

Incidentally, Antonius did manage to sneak into the payout field, finishing 17th for £43,100 ($52,472). This event was paused at the 7-player final table until completion of Event #2, the £1,050,000 buy-in Triton Million - a Helping Hand for Charity, the largest poker tournament ever.
