Richard was primarily an online cash game player, finding poker during the Moneymaker boom years and working his way up the stakes, becoming one of the winningest online players pre-Black Friday.

By that time he had reached the $2million milestone in cash game profits, and over the course of a dozen years or so he also amassed $1,870,463 in live tournament earnings.

He narrowly missed out on a WSOP bracelet back in 2008, his runner-up payout of $570,551 the largest of five 6-figure cashes according to the Hendon Mob database.
