The unique event sees players play a time-based cash game in tournament format, descending on the small country’s capital San Jose every second month – the ‘Switzerland of Central America’ home to ACR’s operation.

Nagy, CEO of the WPN network that hosts ACR, was joined by Moorman and dozens of others in the two-day event, but site pro Thomas Cannuli fell before the end, leaving empty-handed…

There will be two more Cage Live events this year – in October and December – both PLO cashgame/tournament hybrids, and ACR will be awarding two $8,340 guaranteed packages to Costa Rica every Sunday at 6pm ET via $55 satellite tournaments.
