The final day’s action in the $28million GTD online series drew some of the biggest names in the game out of the woodwork, Fedor Holz sharing his multi-tabling, Sunday grind for all to see…

We’ll kick off with that huge Cates victory, Junglemandan one of 131 runners in the $10k buy-in SHR, with opposition from the likes of partypoker pro Kristen krissyb24 Bicknell and the as-yet anonymous online crusher PayAndPlay.

With 20 players in the money – and there was $300k more than the guarantee to share out – Bicknell just missed out on the final table, having to settle for 9th place and $29,082.

DasIstMirWurst and AndreyBolkonsky have both been ever-present in this POWERFEST series two more deep runs yesterday adding to their tally – 7th and 6th for $49,518 and $62,225 respectively.

When Amadeus_Mozart fell in 3rd place, for $157,200 it left Junglemandan and PayAndPlay to sort out the top two prizes, a deal struck and Cates’ online alter-ego taking the trophy and an extra $36k – a $276,511 Sunday payday for the poker legend.

There was some serious PKO action happening as well, with Team Online pro Jaime Staples running deep in the $2100 buy-in, $750k GTD Championship event.

Staples daily round-up show has been one of the hits of the POWERFEST fortnight, and his own 14th place finish deserves a mention – close to $10k in Bounty payments to add to his $4500+ cash.

Up ahead, there was the aptly-named BreakingTheLAW demolishing the field, seeing off Kronktheman heads-up for the title and scooping a remarkable $67,823 in bounties in addition to the regular prizepool cash of $56,189.

There was plenty of Championship excitement at the $1050 buy-in level too, the $500k GTD Deep High Roller attracting 510 entries, with a top prize of very nearly $100k.

N0GUTSNOGlory made another deep run but could ultimately only bag 6th place and $16,830, while The Gladiator snared 3rd place and a very healthy $46,920.

That left mararthur1 and kim0kh to fight it out for the title, and the former came though to scoop $96,135, the runner-up spot worth $68,442.

The POWERFEST Phased High Roller Final saw qualifiers battling the direct $1050 buy-in crew for a share of the $911,500 prizepool, online beast Rui RuiNF Ferreira among the final table of eight from 863 entries.

Ferreira couldn’t make any more progress, however, busting first for $12,669, and eventually the title was decided between Hendimann69 and Chasse-Neige, six-figure cashes for both.

The players agreed on a deal, and Hendimann69 went on to win, a $148,656 payday to go with the trophy, his adversary taking home $124,429 for an excellent showing.

That’s it from another partypoker POWERFEST extravaganza, total prizepools topping $33million across the series. We’ll be back again next Monday with the best of the Sunday action, so make sure to check in.
