Orpen Kisacikoglu wins Triton €100k Super High Roller for €1,040,000

Turkeys Orpen Kisacikoglu scooped the €1,040,000 top prize in the Triton €100k Super High Roller in Rozvadov last night, defeating Vladimir Troyanovskiy heads up for the title during partypokers MILLIONS Live Europe stop.

The all-time Turkish number one tournament pro was among six players who cashed, overnight chip leader Igor Kurganov bubbling the money just as he had done last week in London at the Triton Million charity event.

Canada’s Kristen Bicknell was flying the partypoker flag at the final table, earlier involved in the most surreal hand the festival will likely see…

The world’s leading female pro eventually bowed out in 6th place, soon followed by Cary Katz and last week’s Triton Main Event winner, Wai Kin Yong.

England’s Ben Heath finished 3rd behind Yong last week, and last night saw the same result – a €455,000 ($510,000) cash making it an excellent run for the young pro.

Russian highstakes pro Vladimir Troyanovksiy took a slight advantage into the heads-up battle with Kisacikoglu, but the Turkish man soon rocked him on his heels, finishing the event off in the following hand…
