Sean Winter Takes Down SHRPO Championship For $698,175

Sean Winter bagged the SHRPO Championship title last in Hollywood, Florida, dominating a final table that included recent WSOP bracelet winner Joseph subiime Cheong to take the $698,175 top prize…

While Shaun Deeb, Jessica Dawley and Keith Brennan were bagging three of the SHRPO Big 4 titles being played out yesterday, Winter was knee-deep in a nine-hour marathon that he never looked like not winning.

That long day was the result of the first eight all-ins resulting in double-ups for the short stacks, almost four hours passing before Nick Schwarmann would hit the rail, courtesy of Winter.

Brandon Carl would also fall to Winter, as would Fisch and Robinson, Cheong’s day ending much earlier despite coming in with a healthy stack.

Heads-up, Winter would face Shalom Elharrar, described by the SHRPO updates as ‘a recreational player who owns a business called Paranoia Horror Maze’ - “part haunted house, part escape room” according to the Miami Herald!

There would be no escape for Elharrar, however, eventually finding himself dominated in an A10/K10 showdown and that was that.

Final Table Results:

1 Sean Winter $698,175
2 Shalom Elharrar $487,695
3 Jerry Robinson $314,230
4 Jordan Fisch $232,065
5 Giuliano Lentini $176,350
6 Ben Farrell $139,705
7 Joseph Cheong $115,300
8 Brandon Carl $91,365
9 Nick Schwarmann $69,800
