Jeff Gross and Roberto Romanello Just Can’t Get Enough of partypoker’s Big Sunday Grind

You can not get enough of a good thing it seems, and for some of partypokers Team pros that meant deep Sunday highroller runs almost as soon as the MILLIONS Live final tables finished in Rozvadov!

Roberto WelshWizard Romanello was fresh off a 6th place finish worth €170,000 in the MILLIONS Live Europe Main Event when he sat down to play the $2100 buy-in Sunday High Roller Gladiator.

The $100,000 GTD tournament saw its prizefund almost doubled when 95 entries appeared, partypoker pro Kristen krissyb24 Bicknell among them.

Bicknell was the unfortunate one to bubble the money in 13th, while Romanello managed one place better which gave him $6k and a little change, split between bounty payments and regular prizepool money in the PKO-format event.

Kenny SpaceyFCB Hallaert was another who had been battling it out at Kings Casino, turning his attention to the traditional Sunday online grind and scoring 4th place and almost $15k.

SunTzu had clearly learned the art of war as far as poker is concerned, taking the Gladiator title and a whopping $25,725 in bounties to go with the $19k for first.

Team online pro Jeff Gross had just bagged 8th spot and €35,000 in the High Roller at Kings, a very decent effort mixed in with his commentary duties…

There can never be too much poker, of course, and for Gross that meant a top ten finish in the $1050 buy-in Sunday High Roller Predator – 8th place and a double your money cash, the bounties proving elusive.

Not so for winner Van_Vlan_Van though, some $21,775 in headhunting to go along with his $10,919 share of first and second-place spoils.

Some very familiar names among the partypoker highroller crew appeared running deep in the $500k GTD Sunday High Roller Deepstack.

BreakingtheLAW is an ever-present at the moment, 7th place and $4280 this time round, while AndreyBolkonsky added another $18,725 to his burgeoning bankroll as runner-up.

Top of the heap, however, was Bijzetafell – lifting a handsome $26,215

That left the $530 buy-in Sunday High Roller Clasico, which saw 73 entries and ten spots paid, PayAndPlay among them, though the victory would eventually go to Velazquez76, a $10,402 payday.

Huge numbers this weekend and we’ll have to see how next weekend’s online grind compares without the buzz of a MILLIONS Live festival. We’ll be back with the best of the action next Monday!
