Urbanovich was one of 183 entries in the $5200 buy-in, $750k GTD event 34 on the KO Series schedule, a massive $933,300 the eventual prizepool.

He had some serious challengers as play came down to the final table, Brachiosuarus as well as PayAndPlay among the top-flight challengers, but it was CalmDownMan who shared the top two payouts with Urbanovich.

That $77k+ each split was, in Urbanovich’s case topped up by a staggering $115,171 in Bounty payments, taking the young Polish pro’s share to over $190k.

There was more Team partypoker success in the Sunday High Roller Grind, Brazilian Renato renato_nomura Nomura winning the $50k guaranteed tournament for $12,250.

Nomura had a team-mate for company as the 100-entry field was whittled down to the money, Josip JozinhoPP Simunic finishing 9th for $1250.

The $1050 buy-in Sunday High Roller Deepstack was another event not on the KO Series schedule, the 195 runners meaning a small overlay.

It took more than 10 hours to separate the players, BtchByTrade taking the first of five 5-figure payouts with an $11k cash.

TheOptimist and sixtybananas fought it out heads-up for the win, the former prevailing to bag the title and $40,780, the runner-up taking $29,600 as compensation.

Back in the KO Series grind yesterday, we also had the $2100 buy-in High Roller, $750k guaranteed and an 8-max PKO format.

partypoker’s Patrick Leonard made a deep run, finishing 10th from a field of 352 and securing $5906 in rake-free bounties along the way to go with his $5629 from the regular prizepool.

Regular highstakes grinder iRunStims took over $58k for 4th place, bagging a good chunk of the tournament’s bounties, some $29.5k, but that paled by comparison with the winner’s take-home.

Victory went to rifatpalovic, a $58k regular prize overshadowed by his astonishing $90,464 Bounty payday after defeating Zootopia for the win.

The $30million GTD KO Series on partypoker runs until September 22nd and you can join in the action here.
