More than SC$100k in guaranteed prizepools and the final places for the season finale Tournament of Champions are up for grabs, where a $5k Live tournament package tops the list of prizes.

Main Event Madness

First up, this Sunday November 10th sees the Eagle Cup Main Events take centre stage, the flagship High Main Event boasting SC$100k+ in prizemoney.

The Medium and Low versions of the Eagle Cup ME will see SC$12,500 and SC$5,500 GTD respectively and all three Sunday biggies will send the winners and runner-ups into the following weekend’s Tournament of Champions.

Eagle Cup Tournament of Champions

Scheduled for Sunday 17th November, the ultimate winner will walk off with a cool live tournament package worth $5000.

As with previous Global Poker Championship TOC victors, that will see the lucky player donning the GP colours and playing for big money at a tournament of their choice.

Previous winners of the ToC have mixed it with the best in Vegas and further afield, the chance of turning turning their online wins into massive live cashes.

Hometown Heroes

One of the many unique aspects of Global Poker is their community-based approach to the game, and the Hometown Heroes campaign reflects that ethos very well.

When you lift a Global Poker Championship trophy, you get a goodie bag of GP merchandise along with your cash and trophy, and that can lead to even more extra money – as much as an extra SC$1,000

Here’s the lowdown on what to do and what you’re in line for if you make it that far:

  • SC$20 for sharing a photo wearing Global Poker gear in front of a hometown civic building (e.g. Town Hall, Court House, Council Chamber).
  • SC$20 for sharing a photo wearing Global Poker gear in front of the hometown ‘Welcome To’ sign.
  • SC$20 for sharing a photo at a local casino/card room wearing Global Poker gear.
  • SC$100 for a 10-second video in a local poker tournament wearing Global Poker gear with the player in the next seat saying “I love Global Poker”.
  • SC$1,000 for winning a tournament wearing Global Poker gear and sharing the winner’s photo with us. Result must be listed on Hendon Mob.

If you want to join the Eagle Cup trophy winners and Hometown Heroes, you need to be quick – final weekends are exactly that!
