@DaleKerr @SuddenlyBryce @CrownPoker yeah the Aria HRs use timebanks too. They're needed for sure.
@jvfricke maybe we can improve the rules or implementation of the shot clock? @stealthmunk's chess clock suggestion is intriguing.
It might just be the players, but I think the shot clock may have caused everyone to act more quickly preflop even when they had extra time.
I agree with this completely, but still feel the shot clock tourneys I've played were a significant improvement. https://t.co/FCNkyBaOum
Chess clock is even better than shot clock! It would be more difficult to implement though, right? https://t.co/GP4PDwBvzc

RT @RealKidPoker: At 9 handed table if all took 15 seconds to act preflop it would take 2:15 just to see flop. Would be impossible to play…
@SLOPPYKLOD @FerinBen @RealKidPoker kid at my table was taking 8-10s every hand pre and he folded over 80% of the time. Definitely not cool.
I always enjoy playing the #WSOPMainEvent. Had lots of really nice/cool people at all my tables and poker is fun!
Was down to 8k in the first 2 hours of the #WSOPME. Fought to finish with 28k chips and now I'm back at the office. https://t.co/nKC1up7fzP

@JustinBonomo well played and great pun.
What a performance by @tsarrast. Congrats, man!
@Joeingram1 I might not be for long today
Headed to my 2nd #WSOP event of 2016: $25k PLO. I'm 1/1 on day 2s and 0/1 on cashes. Hope to improve both, but 2nd choice would be neither!

Well, that was a sad run of cards. Busted my first #WSOP event of the summer. Back to cash!
Starting day 2 of the $10k 2-7 Triple Draw. Didn't realize how much I missed these tourneys! Swingy game and a tough field so GL me ??.

@EricDanisPoker @SanFranRush thanks, Eric. See you next time!
Tough and fun HU match. Wish I could've secured more points for the @SanFranRush, but I gave it my best today. https://t.co/ZQXBu8wYam

@scott_seiver good strat and good luck!
@Spadda95 Tom is extremely naturally talented. From what I hear Ungar was incredible, but I never had the pleasure of meeting him.
@rpizzle7 what I call natural talent is mostly just high aptitude for specific things involved in poker: Logic/psychology/math/empathy/etc
@stass13 I never said it wasn't harder in the past! It was way, way harder!
@TuckonSports not sure what you mean if it's in reference to my tweet.
@fanexfox definitely. No doubt tools sped up our learning tremendously. I'm just saying that many could've learned the old fashioned way too
Forgot about this. Totally agree it would have been MUCH harder in terms of work put in back then. Not even close. https://t.co/JYo9pQoTfJ
@aletz99 I think probably would've been a teacher.
But of course, these are my guesses and are limited based on my experiences and perception and variance :)
All that said, Blom is def the most gifted young player. He and Doyle and Ivey are my all-time top 3 in terms of strictly natural ability.
@TexDolly I hope not! Otherwise I might get stuck playing limit with you and Ming ??
Good point. Online poker brought pros who would've been lawyers/engineers/physicists if online poker didn't exist. https://t.co/sJhZZI5LVy
I'd imagine @TexDolly DESTROYED almost all pros 40yrs ago, but the 15th best pro then vs. the 15th best today is a different story.
There are always special people who are outliers. I think @TexDolly is prob the best of all generations, but doesn't represent the average.
...took the top 100 today vs the top 100 from 30 yrs ago, I believe today's top 100 would be more naturally talented on average.
The fact that this is sped up by way more hands per hour/yr leads to natural selection that is very efficient. Diff skill sets but if you...
