POKERBLUFFS also plays as
Deldar182 on PokerStars
POKERBLUFFS is the Full Tilt nickname of 27 year old Australian pro David Eldar.
Prior to discovering poker, Eldar was a national scrabble champion in his native Australia, and was the youngest player to ever been ranked within the nations top ten and was the World Youth Scrabble Champion back in 2006. In fact, despite his subsequent success at poker, Eldar is still atop the Scrabble world and is the current world champion, having beaten stiff competition from 26 countries to claim the title for which he won £7,000 in London in August 2017.
Realising he could use his strategic and analytical brain for better financial success at the poker tables he started playing online and quickly found success at the NLHE, and later, the PLO tables. On his ascent Eldar was one of the biggest ever mid-stakes winners, earning some $2m at the $10/$20 and $25/$50 stakes, although he played as high as you could get online at Full Tilt where he played against the best of the best at $500/$1000.
At the highest stakes, Eldar has been equally successful at the NLHE and PLO tables having won over $1.6m at Full Tilt's NLHE high stakes tables during his early career, and close to $1.8m at PokerStars PLO tables since he transistioned post-black friday and where he still plays as Deldar182.
