ClockWyze on Full Tilt Poker
Andrew "ClockWyze" Pantling was born in Ontario, Canada in 1983 to an artist mother and a musician father. Despite his artistic heritage it was his love of math and gambling which drew him to poker in the early 2000's, and in Pantling's own words, "That's what drove me to poker and when the online poker boom happened I was there to be the beneficiary of that."
Pantling could often be seen in the late 2000's playing at Full Tilt's $25/$50 NLHE CAP games where he was a big winner, although he was occasionally seen at the highest NLHE stakes online ($500/$1000) against the likes of Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius.
Although predominantly a cash-game grinder, Andrew Pantling also has an enviable live tournament record with almost $3.8m in cashes, including two scores over $1m. He won $1.1m for finishing runner-up at the 2013 EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, and cashed for $1.65m in 2016's $1m entry Big One for One Drop. He also has a runner-up finish in a WSOP event, narrowly missing out on a bracelet in 2010's £2.5k 6-handed event at the WSOPE for $162k.
These days Pantling is better known for his success in the buisness world as he seemlessly transitioned from cash-game grinder to online gaming executive as the CEO of popular betting site Matchbook.com.
Despite his lofty executive status, Pantling is still an avid poker enthusiast, and as well as continued patronage of big live events, he has recently been seen taking part in the invite only high stakes PLO cash games at partypoker where he players as "thepucker".
