Andres "Educa-p0ker" Artinano is a Spanish high stakes NLHE cash game pro and is widely recognised as one of the world's best six-max players having won millions of dollars throughout his career at the virtual felt.
Artinano came across online poker at the age of 18 whilst at university where he was studying for a degree in law and business. Apparently his road to millionaire status was cemented after he typed "Win money through the internet" on google and found his way, via sports betting, to online poker.
As is often the case with players who discover they have a poker talent while at University, Artinano eventually ended up quitting his course to play online poker full time, spending much of his time grinding in the UK for tax reasons, eventually making his way up to the highest games online.
In 2013 Artinano decided to play less poker so moved back to Madrid where he concentrated more on coaching and creating a stable of players which remain highly successful to this day.
Andres moved back to the UK around a year later. Playing as Educa-p0ker he has won over $1.1m at PokerStars high stakes cash games and has won over $2m in online cash games since 2015 alone. In 2015/16 he could frequently be seen battling short-handed or heads-up against such online legends as Otb_RedBaron, Kanu7, Sauce123, wilhasha, and Trueteller
As well as his cash game prowess, Artinano gave his bankroll a considerable boost by winning the PokerStars SCOOP Main Event ($1k Medium) in 2016 for $578,621.
