Alexey “LuckyGump” Makarov is a Russian poker pro who plays both high stakes cash games and online tournaments at PokerStars.
As far as his online cash game career goes, LuckyGump was first picked up by other poker tracking sites in the fall of 2009. By December of 2009, LuckyGump accumulated $100,000 in winnings while playing $10/$20 and $25/$50 PLO games. Over the next year, Makarov quickly took his bankroll from $100k to $1 million.
