Phil Galfond is widely considered to be one of the best all around poker players and thinkers in the game today. He routinely plays all comers at the highest stakes games online. In 2012, Galfond launched his poker training website RunItOnce.com where he and other poker professionals release poker strategy videos.
Phil began playing poker online after making a small deposit into his online poker account while attending college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Although he had a cursory understanding of the game from playing with friends, it wasn't long before he was fully immersed in the strategy of poker and his results reflected his hard work.
He experienced a fair amount of success as a NL player which allowed him to amass a sizable bankroll. When the NL action began to dry up, Phil made the transition to PLO, the game which many of his peers consider him to be the best in the world at.
After Black Friday, Phil began spending time in Vancouver where he continues to play online poker.
