Nikolaus Jedlicka is an Austrian online poker pro who currently plays under the name “RealAndyBeal” at PokerStars. Before this, he grabbed the online poker world’s attention while playing under the Full Tilt Poker screen names “Niki Jedlicka” and “KaiBuxxe.”
Beginning with the PokerStars screen name – RealAndyBeal – Jedlicka plays anywhere from $25/$50 to $200/$400 PLO under this account.
The majority of Jedlicka’s online poker success has come via the name KaiBuxxe, where he made about $3.2 million in just five months. He first started playing under this name at the start of 2007, and Beal stopped playing on KaiBuxxe in September, 2007; surprisingly, there’s been no activity on this name since. However, Beal has been active on “Niki Jedlicka” since the summer of 2007 – though the results are the total opposite of KaiBuxxe.
While playing under his own name, Jedlicka has lost over $4.4 million; $1.76 million of the losses came within Beal’s first six months of using the name. Diving deeper into this downtrodden six-month time frame, Niki Jedlicka lost $549k in one session against Phil Ivey, and $135k to Kagome Kagome in another session.
Moving away from the cyber poker tables, Jedlicka has $531,843 in career live poker tournament winnings; this includes a seventh place finish in the 2007 EPT Barcelona ($211,480) and a fifth place finish in the 2008 Aussie Millions ($87,903). It’s also worth mentioning that he was a devout Magic the Gathering player before taking up online poker.
