Trueteller is 24th on the list of biggest poker winners tracked by HighstakesDB. The data is based on 531278 hands played and his total cash game profits amount to $2,323,037.
Trueteller is the screen name of young Russian poker phenom Timofey Kuznetsov. Over the past few years Kuznetsov has been one of the most successful online highstakes pros, winning millions of dollars at both PokerStars and Full Tilt, before the latter was consumed by the former.
Trueteller's initial success came from heads-up No Limit Hold'em where he would often be seeing Viktor "Isildur1" Blom over at Full Tilt's $300/$600 or CAP $500/$1000 tables. However, Trueteller is an all-round player, and in fact most of his +$2m high stakes profits at Full Tilt came from the 2-7 Triple Draw tables where he won $1.8m between 2014-2015.
At PokerStars NLHE is currently still Trueteller's most profitable game (+$1.3m), although he has also performed well at both the Draw and 8-Game tables. Although he isn't showing a profit at PLO, Trueteller is also highly regarded as a PLO player and rarely shirks a challenge. Trueteller has also shown he can overcome a downswing as between May-October 2016 he lost $1.2m at PokerStars, only to win $1m back between October 2016 and Jaunary 2017.
Kuznetsov rarely plays live tournaments, although when he does, it is for big money. His two recorded cashes total almost $3m. He won $2.15m for placing 4th in 2015's $500k buy-in Super High Roller Bowl, and he earned $748,446 for winning a $50k Super High Roller event at the Aria in May 2016.
Kuznetsov is also rumoured to be a big winner in some of the highest stakes cash games around the world, including in the ultra high stakes cash games in Macau.
