cumicon is 83rd on the list of biggest poker winners tracked by HighstakesDB. The data is based on 29872 hands played and his total cash game profits amount to $1,050,576.
Cullen "cumicon" Conners is a 30 year old (as of January 2017) American online cash game pro who specialises in heads-up Pot Limit Omaha.
Connors started out as a NLHE 6max cash game player and was a regular in the PokerStars and Full Tilt $5/$10 and $10/$20 NLHE games between 2006-2010. After feeling burnt out at the 6max games Connors decided to focus primarily on head-up NLHE cash.
His transition to PLO occurred due to the lack of action at NLHE and the proliferation of bumhunting pros saturating the heads-up lobbies at NL. Initially Connors only began to play PLO in order to get some action but soon realised his edge at PLO was far greater than at NLHE and committed himself full time to PLO. He credits watching Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond's instructional videos as key to his rapid improvement as a PLO player.
After black Friday, Connors relocated to Canada and hatched a plan to basically put the rest of his life on hold in order to earn enough money to be able to retire at a relatively early age. Initially thinking it could take 10 years to reach his "magic number" Connors reached his goal in just five years. He revealed his identity and his entire profit graph for the previous 5 years of online poker in late November 2017 (+$7.4m), along with announcing his retirement from poker. Connors in unquestionably one of the biggest online poker winners of the past five years and one of the best heads-up PLO players of all time.
In his one and only interview, a podcast with Joe Ingram, Connors said he was looking forward to moving somewhere in the Western US in the mountains where he can lay down some roots and develop the social life which he had all but given up during his intense five year poker grind.
