"punting-peddler" is a new account on Full Tilt Poker that was registered from Macau. For all we know, it could be anyone, anyone that has a lot of money and knows how to play several forms of poker, and willing to do so, at the highest stakes, against the very best. That probably narrows it down, quite a bit.
High stakes draw games, mixed games and fixed games such as PLO Hi/Lo, seems to be the new black. It's hard to explain fashion, I won't even try, but when it comes to poker games like those, I think it's more likely for punting-peddler to be someone known that's been around for a long time, than being someone relatively new and unknown. Hell, just Hold 'em takes a Lifetime to master.
This is just pure speculations, but someone like Swedish professional Mikael Thuritz could be a possibility. He fits the description and has Macau listed on in the contact section of his home page. Thuritz is rumored (but not confirmed) to be ChaoRen160 on PokerStars.
The word "Punt" could mean several things, but "to Gamble" would make the most sense here. The origin of the word "Peddler" is a traveling salesman, usually by foot, carrying or using a wagon for the things he's selling.
