Sven Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker was born in Hamburg in 1984 and is widely recognized as one of the best cash game players of the online age.
Heinecker started out playing in home games with his friends, and puts his first successes in the game down to reading articles on pokerstrategy.com.
ragen70 has been among the most feared No Limit Hold'em players for several years, but is a multi-game player who has also enjoyed incredible success elsewhere, particularly at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables.
Although predominantly an online high stakes grinder, Heinecker has also enjoyed success in live tournaments, with his first big score being a $106k score at the 2007 WSOP Main Event. His most significant live win by far, however, came at 2013's GuangDong Asia Millions event in Macau where he took first place for a staggering $4,456,885.
2013 was an all round break out year for ragen70 as he surpasses even his GuangDong win with his online play, racking up over $6m profit at Full Tilt Poker alone, making him the biggest winner of the year by a considerable margin. In addition to his Full Tilt millions, ragen70 is also up $2,134,966 in games at $50/$100 and above at PokerStars.
After his huge year in 2013 Heinecker started to step back from poker, halving his online volume in 2014 and stopped playing live tournies completely. He still managed to win over $1.4m online. Since the end of 2014 ragen70 has logged a mere 1,228 high stakes hands online, not playing at all in 2015 and playing only a handful of short sessions in 2016.
With close to $15m in live and online winnings, Niklas "ragen70" Heinecker can lay claim to being one of the most successful players of the online generation.
