Brian Townsend is another American professional living in exile. He used to be the lead instructor at Cardrunners, but decided that it was too time consuming and resigned in June 2010.
He became famous playing under "sbrugby" on Full Tilt Poker. Where he has also been a red pro, playing under his real name.
He hasn't been playing that many Live Poker Tournaments, yet he managed to cash somewhere around $350K. Townsend participated in the third season of the TV Show High Stakes Poker.
Brian has been involved in and a $1.8 million PLO pot, which he lost to Bobby Baldwin, playing live poker in Las Vegas. Townsend was bluffing all 3 streets, and Baldwin slow playing the nuts with a redraw.
