Types of poker deals
Rakeback offers - Gives a player a certain percentage back on all the fees or rake paid to the poker room while playing. The rakeback rate and how often the player will receive it varies between the poker rooms. Once signed up for rakeback the player will receive it for the lifetime of their account.
Cashback offers - Cashback, sometimes referred to as valueback or loyalty, is similar to rakeback but the rewards are based on earned points and level achieved in the loyalty program, instead of a flat percentage of rake paid. The more a player plays and the longer a period, the higher level in the loyalty program is achieved and the more points are earned (thus rewards).
Poker bonuses - Most, if not all poker rooms offer a bonus when making a first deposit. The normal bonus is a match bonus which will be put into a bonus account clear into cash when the player earn points or pay rake while playing. E.g. a 200% up to $400 bonus means that a deposit of $200 or more will qualify the player for the full bonus amount. The rate with which the bonus will clear into cash (real money) is detailed when clicking in on each poker offer.
